    Having problems with speeling.

It's become increasingly apparent to me on reviewing some recent comments I've made, my spelling sucks. What has happened? I used to be the teacher's bitch, now I've got Zoo IQ.

I’m an ape man, I’m an ape ape man, I’m an ape man
    I’m a king kong man, I’m a voo-doo man
    I’m an ape man.

Anyone else having this problem? Maybe it's my typing style, I never look at the screen when I type. That's write paper pushers, I never went to typing class.

Alzheimers maybe, some kind of old age malady. I'm going to despise my 40's, I can already tell.

Maybe I can convince Darkshadow to operate, he's pretty good with a scalpel, at least I'll get free medical up there.

    I'm rambling, another bad sign.

It's all in your avatar. Changing it so often results in spelling fluctuations!

So how many years as a guest of the state is the teacher doing?????????????

Don't worry though, even us Lords of Spelling stumble every once in a while. It's usually right after I've blasted someone on their spelling. It's called Karma.

    :D :D :D

You ain't old yet Cricket. I have noticed that almost everyone under the age of 35 can' t spell worth a tinker's damn. When my spelling is off, its cause my fingers are blind and can't see the key I want!!!!

Hey I resent that statement! Most of my spelling mistakes are because I think I have a few wires crossed im my brain. The left hand does what the right is supposed to and visa versa... I have to make a concious effort to get it right. Usually I am very careful to proofread, but I usually am too tired and just post. Like this time :D

I was not referring to spelling errors caused by fumble fingers. I am talking about simple things like there and their. I guess I should have said proper grammar rather than spelling. One more example of our educational system going downhill.

    It's right... :D

I was a spelling nut for a while, too. But it seems every now and then I'd notice I put a "You're" where there should be a "Your", so I just figured I'm getting stoopider with age...

Not to mention reading some of Z3pr's older posts... Those can make any rational man lose the will to spell... :rotfl:

Funny timing that I'm reading this. My train just went past a billboard that was misspelled for years. It's covered up with an ad now, but I remember being embarassed for the owner... It was really dumb, like "Call an apply today!", but they never fixed it.

But that is easily attributed to "Big Head Syndrome". It throws your balance off :D
