I've had JBA shorties on my truck for about a year now. And, recently, they've been eating the #3 cylinder wire and boot. I've been through about 3 sets of wires, and I'm going to be using some boot protectors and some heli-core multiangle MSD wires. I need to know how or what I can use to stop these wires and boots from melting and arcing, since the straight boot is almost right ontop of the header tube, and I don't think just the boot protector will stop it..

I'm runnin the JBA's and after burning that same wire about 4 times I got some Accel header spark plugs. They are short enough to run the stock 90 degree boot with room to spare.
