Looking for just the housing, no guts and I dont care about spindle condition or whether is has spindles or not. I need the pumpkin area for a template for future projects.

Thanks to anyone that might have one they want hauled away.

I tossed one in the recycle bin about 1-2 months ago. May still be there but a long haul if you can find one closer. Spindles were rusty but the rest was decent. I could even torch out the center if you want to pay a little for the gas and shipping.

I appreciate it, but something local would be best for this as shipping would kill any deal really. These things can be found whole for $100 at the boneyard, I was just hoping someone had one they trashed and want to get off their hands. thanks...

I fully understand... Heck try selling 14FF axleshafts around here! No one wants them because they never break 'em /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif This housing was just left out in the rain with the hubs off is the only reason it was trashed.

I will check the next chance I get to head to the dump... They dont get much scrap steel up there so it doesnt get emptied often. Hardest part may be getting it back out of the bin if someone has put something else big in there.

How about $60 for the whole housing (includes spindles), and it will be picked up. Otherwise its just cost effective to pick up the whole thing for $100 or less locally. Especially on a 1/2 off day. Thanks

i can do that. like i said it was just some numbers. had no clue what you were willing to pay or what it was worth.
the housing i have in mind at the yard is dammaged on the inside where the carrier bearing caps bolt up. is that ok?
ill just pull the hubs off it, cut what is left of the axles out and keep the hubs and axle ends for caps. well one of them anyway.

PS, if that housing wont work, ill get another one for ya.
if i have to part the one i have out then so be it. i can use extra parts.

That one is perfectly fine. You can take out the guts if you wanted them for parts too. But I would prefer to get the diff cover if possible along with it.

    Thanks...
