Today is the 2 hour special. I think the they're building 4x4's. It's on TLC, channel 73 where I live.

Sure your Durango can go any place I can go, (if I hook a strap to it).

Did any of you guys notice that the Americans used a late 70s chevy for their machine and cleaned up in pretty much every competetion. The only thing that scared me is there frame cracked at the steering box. They just ended up welding it on somehow. Im glad I got a brace after seeing that.

I thought it was funny that "Mr pro rock crawler" was surprised that the frame was cracked there...

Who was that guy. I missed the beginning so I didnt catch how he was the expert. He didnt seem very bright to me. He picked that Russian jaloppi (sp?) to win the whole thing. I thought it was really cool watching the Americans just fly over the rocks when the rest of them had so much trouble.

I was talking about the expert on the american team...the judge dude was part of the design team that built the AMG Hummer. He actually predicted the outcomes pretty well...

I still can't get over the poor choices the Brits and the Russians made. A cherokee and a boat hull? Then the Brits killed their approach angle with all that skidplating...and never got rid of the sway bar to help it flex any.

I thought it was a cool episode...

Didn't understand the americans why the shut the motor off in the lake when it was over heating cuz the cooling fan and the radiator were partialy in the water. Cut the lower radiator hose and run just like a boat with a water intake. they could have won that race also

I love how the Americans first picked the Ford truck, but when they saw that burley Chevy sittin there, they said the hell with the POS Ford -- the difference b/t first and last place! I just hate it how they destroyed that sweet Chevy.

I wish i could find a chevy that clean in a real junkyard. You can easily tell that most of that junk is planted in there for the specific challenge....a running 70's model lifted chevy w/gumbo mudders? in a junkyard? oh well...its still a badass show...i liked the one where they made the sandrail w/the paddle type tires and a 1100 c.c. honda street bike engine...they were ROOSTIN....
