I have a friend who needs to replace the seals in a D60 rear. From what I could tell in the tech section, it looks like the seals can be replaced pretty much like a 12B, pull the C-clip, pull the shafts, R & R seals, reverse order and all done. Is this correct? If not, what else is there that needs to be done? If it's that simple, no problem. I've done a 12 but never witnessed the inside of a FF60. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

First off if its a Full Floater (FF) there are no c-clips. You need to unbolt the covers on the hubs and pull the axles out.

If its a FF D60, then there are no axle seals. The flange of the axle seals against the hub. If that's leaking, then you can just RTV them and it will seal.
