    Was doing my monthly Lube and checking everything under the K-5 and came across a rear u-joint that has lost it's needle bearing. Need to check underneath the truck every once in a while. It's better than having to rebuild the driveshaft.

    yep, im glad my uncle showed me my front wheel joint that had lost all the needle bearings inside of it, and the seal was gone, and there was mud "chalk" in it, talk about a bummer. glad to hear you found the problem /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif, before it became a disaster, but you could look at it for a reason to upgrade to a CV driveshaft /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif.
