Well, after much adoo I am about to get my '69 back. Some of you may remember 2 months ago I asked your advice on where to get my truck worked on (the truck is a 69 that was one step from being thrown away). Well now I am on the cusp of being the proud owner of a Hugger Orange 1969 K5 Blazer. I will post all the details about what was done to it, with plenty of pictures.
*** Let me clarify, these pictures are the only ones I have for about a week **** when I get it back I will make nice write up with all the pictures you could ever want /forums/images/icons/smile.gif
Much love to GM Truck Center in Burbank Calf. Henrik did an amazing job at an amazing price /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

Original Truck - hard to tell in pictures what a junk heap it is.

I will, be patient. I don't have it back yet, so I am at the mercy of the shop. I only have so many pictures (so far) /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Bet you're happy now that you didn't sell it.....!

From what I can tell it's looking AWESOME. Another case of "1st Gen Tough Love"....these trucks are getting more and more rare all the time, and it's great to see someone put the time and $$$ to bring one back to life.

I'll be waiting (im)patiently to see more photos when you get them! /forums/images/icons/cool.gif

    Congrats!

I paid $3k for it and when I took it GM Truck center he said it was worth $500, maybe $1000 if I was dumb... hahahahahahah. Win some lose some. But now it is very nice /forums/images/icons/smile.gif
