has anyone done this on a blazer? ive seen a few newer generation pickups done. it has driver side drop on the t-case so i need a ford d44 (light weight daily driver) but how do i get the lug patterns to match? which steering box for x-over? thx--j.c. /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

  2. I just helped a buddy do this on a 92 Yukon. We used a 8 lug Ford Dana 44 front and then put in a 14 bolt FF rear(cheap). Set of axles ran $500 and then he had them rebuilt and the rear locked. The steering box that is in it will work cuz the IFS runs left to right with the steering and uses the idler arm, so you are good there. Just need flat top D44 knuckles(machined),studs, arms, and drag link !!
