Just curious as to what a 355 is.

    I have seen 355cid mentiond on here several time as well as other places. I have never been real sure as to what it is refering to. For some reason stroked 327 comes to mind when I see it but I am not sure as that is right.

    Someone please clarify this fore me.

    A 355 is a 30 overbored 350

    a stroked 327 is a 350; same bore, different stroke.

    yes, a .030 over 350 is a 355
