hi all hope u all r having a good time,

i just wanna keep u updated to my planes, my k5 is by so far standard, only 33" tires, anyway, after really long search, i have found out that actually buying another car for spare and upgrade parts is cheaper in my country, coz shipping and tax well double, or even tripple the price, so im thinking of buying a suburban, 90 and below for spare parts for my k5, i can use its tranny, 14b ff, front axle, t-case, and everything else, so what u think is it a good idea, thanx alot /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I think you have a good idea. Most of the people on this site have at least 1 spare truck for parts, or more.
At one point I had 3.
Not only is this a good idea for grabbing spare parts from, but if you need to see how something is put together, just look at the donor truck.
    Good luck /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

sounds like a great idea! i have never had the space to keep a donor vehicle around, but I always wish I had a few. In your position, where spare/aftermarket parts are going to be really expensive, it makes even more sense!
