Well it has been awhile since I have been out here posting but then again the project has been on hold. Originally bought the truck in New Hampshire and have since moved it to St. Loius and now I am in Seattle WA. I have to say WA is awesome /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif Anyhow I hooked up with a sweet place in GreenLake area with a nice garage just north of Seattle and I am starting to tear into the project. I am looking to see how many of you out there are in my area. I just moved out here in February. Anyway. Thanks for some great info on this board. Lots of good info. Hopefully I can start to share my project with you guys. I am going to set up a Web Shot soon with pics of the rehab Later /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif.

I'm on the east side of the state, but what the hell, it's still the "evergreen state" green from tax dollar's, not the tree's. /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif

Welcome to the rain! I'm just over in North Kirkland/Bothell area - Not too far from ntaj*ep. There are a couple other guys over this way with first gen K5's but they aren't on the board. Wallingford is a great area. I used to live at 51st & Woodlawn. I don't have huge amounts of tools, etc, but anything I can do to help, just let me know.

    Hello,

Let me also welcome you to the Northwest. It's reaqlly not that bad out here and you have chosen a great time of year to relocate. I live in Renton which is just a hop, skip and a jump from Seattle.

It would be great to get together with all the 1st generation owners in the near future.

    Regards,
    Scott

Awesome, I'd love to get together. I am looking for a welder right now. I have the drivers side front floorpan out, I am replacing the floor supports, pillars, rockerpanels and rebuilding the rocker boxes. I have all the metal, most of it already fitted, just need to weld it in. Unfortunately like I said I cannot weld. Any help there would be awesome. Money has been tight lately, I am getting married in August. If any of you guys are in the area let me know, love to hang out and get ideas or just make an excuse to throw a couple back. I work in Bellevue and live on 56th and Keystone. I can't wait to get the thing on the road. I am pulling my hair everytime the sun is shining and the mountains are showing /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif.
