Hey everybody. I don't know if there's general hostility /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif about asking opinions on specific hardware, but I am looking for a head unit, found the JVC KD-SH909 and wanted to know if anyone had any experience with one?

I want a unit that plays CDs and MP3s and was also looking for a 4V output unit (as recommended by pretty much everyone on here). I also like the 3 sets of outputs. I really don't have any other requirements.

And Bozowise, can you shoot me a PM with a price on that unit shipped to 08322.

    Thanks!!

I really like JVC headunits. You get alot for your money with JVC sence they don't have the really big name in car stereo like Alpine, Kenwood, and Pioneer. I think JVC's quality is just as good, if not better then the ones I just mentioned. I own 2 JVC headunits at the momment. I have the KD-LX50 for the K5, and a KD-LX1 in the daily driver.

I have a JVC in my K10 and I like it. It's fairly easy to use and sounds good. I havent had any problems with it so far since I got it about 2 years ago.

I've had a JVC SH707 for afew months now and like it a lot, great sound, good MP3 features, etc. I chose it over a Kenwood MPV7019 after much web surfing and havn't had a complaint so far.
