It has been said to swap over the parts and it's a pain. I can take the pain. (Starting to love Chevy's)
Question (Again) The wheel bases are different will the drive shaft be the same? If not what drive shaft should I look for?
    Thanx Luke

The front drive shaft should be the same, but since K5s have shorter wheel bases, the rear shaft will be longer than the K5s and shorter than the C10s. After getting the transfercase in place you can measure from it to the rear diff and have your C10 shaft shortened.
