I have owned my truck now for almost a year and finally ran a car fax report on it, and it came back as being a k10 not k5, all the emblems say k5 silverado, what is the diff between the 2 and is this possible?

My hotrod goes anywhere I want it to.

    The K10 is a pickup truck and a K5 is a Blazer

  3. The K10 is the auto parts stores way of not getting confused between S10 Blazer and the K5. The C10 is the 1/2 ton truck.

Most things like DMV, Insurance etc will refer to a K5 as a K10 Blazer/Jimmy Wagon. They class it as a short bed pickup. It makes your insurance cheaper so don't complain.
