anything will fit if you got the right tools. i know the rear of the frame on a k30 is different, are you talking about putting a Quad cab frame on there?

you must mean a 4 door cab, otherwise you'd be going in the wrong direction....I like the sound of this, 4 doors mini flatbed /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

Went out and measured for you. The frame on the K30 is 33 1/2" wide, and the K5 is 36". Which would make the body mounts different, easy to fix with a little cutting and welding. The biggest problem for you is going to be wheelbase. The back of the cab ends at the center of the rear tire. I think you would need to get a longbed frame. I don't think a shortbed would be long enough. Check out the pictures and give me a call if you need any measurements or whatever. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
Just rechecked some things, You're going to need about 130" of wheel base ('burban, I have one of those here too. It's not mine.) Any less WB and you'll have to make wheelwells in the rear of the cab and doors, PITA /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif
I have some overlay picture, but am having a hard time posting them. Anyone want me to e-mail them to you so you can post them?

Why not just pull the buckets in the front of the Blazer and put in a bench seat out of a p/u? Then you can haul 6 people, just like a crew cab....but w/ WAYYYYYYYYYYYYY less work.

My friend put one on a long bed frame. Doesn't have a bed yet but the cab fit with some modifications to the body mounts.

Yeah, put a bench seat in the K5, would be the cheapest thing you can do and have a rig right now instead of having to find a crew cab, and build and modify it, etc etc. Then you'll be wheeling easier, and you can still work on that crew cab /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

And then you can make me a deal on those bucket seats you have /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

umm really, WTF does it matter if you sell it anyways!! Use your freakin head, it was a solution to keep your k5 for a while without spending a lot of money... /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif
