I hope to be looking at a '80' K30 that's supposed to be complete to use as a dondor vehicle for my 72 K5. Any tips as what I need to watch out for? PS the price is cheap /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif
    Thanks, OLD DAWG

Grab the front axle, [Dana 60} Grab the T-Case 205 if a stick, Grab the 14 Bolt rear axle, sell off the rest. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Check that front axle to make sure it's still got the Dana 60. It's comman for people to rob the D60 out of them befor they sell them. Most just end up putting a D44 or 10 bolt in place of the D60 befor they sell them off.

Thanks guys. I was kinda wondering if someone might try the old axle switch trick. And it has a 350 but I already have a good rebuilder 454 in the garage. Oh by the way I haven't told the wife about this yet /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif If I do buy it I'll be selling my 12 bolt and '75' 44 with 4:10s to recoup some of the cash maybe that will calm her some /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

It's alway's easier to apologize than to try and get the O.K. to buy something. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif
