I thought I seen somewhere a heavy duty das tank with like a 3/8" skid plate. Anyone seen it?
back to the top again!
sorry dude havnt seen anyone make a hd tank for k5s, although I have seen people make custom skid plates or reinforce the factory skid plate
I knew I'd seen it here somewhere, just took me a little while to find it...
I think im going to make my own fuel cell for the back bed.
If I was to put a fuel cell under there how could I plumb the stock fill neck?
I wonder if that northwest fab would clear the rear diff? especially since yours is moved back some from the longer springs?
$500 is a little more than what I am wanting to spend. I think I will either stick with stock and build a skid plate or go with a cell.
My first blazer (GMC Jimmy) was a 76 and it had a skid plate like you are talking about. The truck was completely stock when I bought it (and when I sold it).
Damn that was one tough plate. I backed up onto a rock with that thing. Great skid plate. Anyone know if this was a stock option for an offroad package or anything?
