K5 Blazer vs V10 Blazer

    I asked this in a different forum and was directed here. What is the differentce between the K5 Blazer and the v10 Blazer?

    They are exactly the same, In 1988 or 87 they changed it to V10 I believe.

    They are exactly the same. In '88, Chevy and GMC transfered the "K" designation onto hte new body style of trucks, and renamed the K5 Blazer as a V10 Blazer instead. Problem is, nobody in a parts store around here knows what the heck a V10 Blazer is, so I just call mine a K5...

    Where did all these damned dirty apes come from!?!
