Well alcohol will make you do some pretty stupid things, I remember some time ago I used to live in Fresno and almost every weekend we used to go up to the mountains with girls and just have fun but you know there was always beer involved, anyway one night I had a gun that I used to own and we were driving through some fields drinking of-course (stupid I know!!!) and I just pulled out the gun aimed at the sky and unloaded the full magazine about 8 to 10 shots about an hour after I hear a bunch of sirens my friend was with me and he said we better hide, there was an old abandoned house a big house we went behind it and chilled for a while you know we were scared off our pants, but now I just thank god nothing happened to nobody and to us, now I do use guns but responsibly and no more mixing guns and alcohol, or K5s and alcohol I hope I thought a lesson I know I learned.

check out my new site, thanks Steve!

There is an update to that story . That Blazer was impounded by the police . It seems the new tires and wheels he had put on it were bought with a stolen credit card and he was arrested for it .

    It definitely is a Jimmy.

What tires are those? it says they are $2,800 a set. That would be $700 a piece! To me, the front ones look like Boggers and the rear ones look like Dick Cepek Radial FCs. Are they talking about some out of this world tires I haven't heard about? What do you think?

Hmm, actually the rears look like Boggers to me as well, except for the center section that looks it's either part of the lugs or just caked up with muck. Anyone else?

Maybe they meant that the entire wheel & tire combo was $2800 a set, which would be plausible if those are 44" Boggers.

They are Boggers for sure and M/T alcoa rims which are over $200 a piece. The boggers have been installed incorrectly because the tread pattern is facing the rear.

Or when he got the tires and rims he just put the tires on the wrong side, so that means they were installed correctly. because if you take both the right tires, spin them 180 degrees then they will go on the left side of the truck and the tread will be in the right direction. me so smrt.

I was just reading this post. You guys are talking about the tires being on backwards. Well that may not be entirely true. On our 4x4 tractors, we would put the front 2 tires on backwards. That way if the tractor got stuck, it still had the same amount of traction to try and back out. 1/2 in 1/2 out. better than all in 0 out.

Ya but, it looks like all 4 are on backwards. Maybe that's why he couldn't make it all the way across the house! [IMG]

I've heard that Boggers are quieter on pavement when you run them backwards (that shows how much off road use it probably saw).

Hey, think I can go to seattle and buy it when they put it up for police auction? I'll put an easy 3K getting it back to Jersey. It'd be worth it for that bad truck. Well, back to restoring my frame.
