I was thinking, we(all K5 owners...not just CK5 members) definately need to have a giant jamboree this summer, or on a holiday. You always read about j**p jamborees, but never blazer, or any other for that matter. So I we need to have one, and it needs to be organized. May i suggest somewhere in Texas...lots of trails and open space, and short trip for me! Share ideas.

Its gonna be a WILD ride!

I didn't realize that was going on. Thats way cool, but I won't be able to attend. If its on next year I'm all over it. If anyone else is planning on an event like this towards the end of summer put me on your invite list.
I'd love to see/go to a "K5 Jamboree" or even a Fullsize Jamboree somewhere in the central US so that people from the east coast and west coast have an equal chance of showing up.

In texas ... we have Beer, Trucks, Women, more trucks, Beer, lots of women... oh.. we're talking about 4 wheeling trips..
We have the Slab in South Central Texas..northwest of Austin.. and Dallas area.. from what I've read.. has alot of places we could go.. Barnwell ? is one of them.. or Shilo...
Sounds like a plan... let's see what we could come up with...
Bowtie? have any places that could hold a large event down near San Antonio?
Sounds like a good brain-storming session is in order..

No doubt Rocko, Neil has definitely got his SH|T together for the Spring Run. He has invested countless hours planning, preparing, and calling sponsors to make the 2001 Midwest Spring K5 Thing a fun time for all who attend. I can't wait..........todd

its a ggreat idea, i dont think it would work though, cause of people being from all over USA it would be hard/ expensive to get everyone in 1 place.
jsut because of the trip so far awayy. im a from NC and TEX is a ways away to drive.

I'd love it if it were in Texas! We could have it the Slab or at Barnwell Mountain, it's in Gilmer Texas(Northeast). I've never been there but I'm planning on going in the near future.

Not to exclude anyone, but I would like to see who all is from NC and surround area. My wife and I go up to the blue ridge every year and wheel. It is light, but normally because no trail buddy. This is normally a weekend camp and trail ex, but looking to find NC area K5's that might be interested in this and also other K5'ers in area that share the obsession of working on their K5's. I'll look to see who responds and maybe we can get something together.
