k5 update

    I went down to the shop to see my k5 today. Its been there since 11/13/00. By the looks of it it will be there for a while longer. They're doing a really good job though, and thats what counts. I'm getting the fenders cut while it in there, and I don't have a pic, but let me tell you, you will all be jealous as hell when you see them (THIS IS A FACT). He took a good 1.5" out of the back and some off the front, and I don't think the engineers at GM would even be able to tell. Just thought I'd share so when I post the pic nobody wets their pants, or cries when they go out and look at the hack job on their fenders.

    I saw a cut finder that looks like what I think you are discribing. He 'V' cut the finder back behind the flare and moved the flare back. I got his number, I'm going to do the same. It looks great. Can't wait to see your pics when it's done.
