Just got back from the weigh scale.
2490kg, or 5475 lbs. This config except with the half doors on. No roof, truck tailgate, fullsize spare, jackall, misc small spares, half a tank of fuel and no skinny guy behind the wheel.

Just thought you may be curious.

when I get the body on I'm gonna do a side by side compare with my brothers 79 Jimmy to see the gains of doing the body swap and what not.

Hehee Ohhh I hope the scale was wrong where I weighed my truck. With full trail gear, hard top 3/4 a tank and my fat butt...6640!

One thing it does do is makes me feel better about towbarring it to the park this weekend. The wifes 1/2T Ram is GVWR at 6600lbs! So mine is actually less than hers. I was thinking it would be more, which would make it an awful interesting trip.

Any of the truck stops should have a scale. It costs a few bucks but only takes a couple of minutes.

Between 3800 and 4300lbs stock depending on what options you've got.

    My truck weighs 4400lbs.

I weighed mine before Moab and without the doors but with the tailgate, It was right at 5400. I figured not too bad with one ton axles and 40's. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Now that's a serious upgrade! Weight is a commonly forgotten factor in modifying these trucks...

I'm guessing mine weighs 4800-5000 lbs without me in it and about a 1/2 tank of fuel.

My 1 ton longbox 2wd weighs 4900 lbs.

My rig rang in at just under 6000 without me in it, half a tank of fuel and no cargo, and that was when it was half ton!! I would hate to see what it is now since I anm 3/4 ton!!

MousePowrd: I used black rubber gasket to seal around mine. Works good.
