I am looking to buy a K5 Blazer. I want one with a manual but i am have trouble finding many, and i haven't been able to find any near me. So my question is are manuals just hard to find, and if so for what reason?

I dont think they should be hard to find, I found mine easily but its a Jimmy, so there could be something there. Maybe just in your area no one wants to sell. Sorry I couldn't help.

I've seen a few in my 4-wheel days (not to long) but just keep checking the newspaper and hell, one could pop in there on day. Where do you live?

A guy I work with was telling me the other day that he was thinking about selling his boy's K5 (he bought him a newer truck).

it's a 1986 model, factory manuel (he says it has granny low), black with gold flake paint (he says you have to get close to it to see the flake)

said he was going to ask about $4500 for it. Say's it's real nice (I haven't seen it, so I can't confirm)

He lives in Muscle Shoals, AL. Not too far from Nashville.

PM me and let me know if you are interested and I will get some contact info for you.

I have found that a stick shift Blazer is very hard to come by so I settled on a TH700R4 equiped Blazer and converted it over to a 465 set up myself . It's a lot of work but I got a better Blazer and made it what I wanted it to be instead of waiting for a clean stick shift model to come along . Tom
