when i go to a 4" lift should I buy two extra shocks for the front, or just put on 4?
I would just go with one. It would ride stiffer with two.
Yeah, id go with one only as well.
If you tow keep the dual shock setup, otherwise ditch it. The dual shocks limit travel.
if you buy the shocks to put into a dual shock setup, you have to buy a shock specifically designed for a dual shock setup.they have less dampening per shock but they handle the load much better for a longer amount of time before they heat up the oil inside the shock.so they will most likely last longer than a single shock and give you better dampening over rough terrain at speed.
I dumped mine. The ride was way better after too. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
I decided to ditch the quad shocks on my stock K5 and the ride is a lot better. I should have done it sooner /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif
Same here, went from 2 rs5000's on each side to 1 sx8000 on each side... wow, much better ride!
