I used to have one when I was in school, made it out of a freezer, c02 tank and tap (stole tap from bar /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif). Worked out great, but keep the lines clean or it taste like Sh$t after some time.
    Good idea though /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

Are you gonna have the tap(s) on the door or on the side? There was a pic of one on here a few months ago...

Our shop fridge used to be one. Dad quit drinking so the hole for the tap is still there, all the shelves are cut out but there is nothing there. He has a chiller box too, like for big events one of those cold boxes you fill with ice and you can route a few kegs through it, all come out cold.

Kegarators are cool, but as a former employee of Digitial Equipment Corp. I have a fond rememberance of the VAXbar /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif It's gotta be one of the coolest drinking accessories of all time. /forums/images/graemlins/pimp1.gif

Here are some simple plans and parts info:

I built one in college, it was pretty easy but we trashed it.

By the way Corby, I thought saw that you lived in Austin? Are you a bartender there? I went to school there and still have a bunch of friends we go see every year.

Use the old odd colored fridges when you make one. They seem to get colder. I sell WAY TOO MANY parts to repair the supposedly better "new" efficient stuff. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Yeah, I live in Austin, but I'm not a full time bartender. I just do weddings and parties...my school schedule does not work with being a full time bartender... /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif
