My keyboard is running low on ink. Its a fairly common Microsoft keyboard. What ink would y'all recommend running?

I'd go with the 30.20 Santorio ink. It's actually color ink to replace your black, but it gives a more professional appearance to your emails. It's a little more expensive, but it has a nozzle for the zerk fitting under the "inkerface" (tm) panel on the bottom of your Keyboard.

a side note, I understand that Microsoft will no longer be supporting the synthetic ink and will be switching to natural Octopus ink...go figure.

Hmm, I didn't realize I had the Inkerface(tm) fitting on my 'board. Well, I'm off to the nearest hardware store to get a high pressure grease gun and fill that sucker with ink!

you have to remove the panel. Unscrew it topwise and it'll pop right out. You'll see the zerk right under it. Make sure you remove the Zerk cover with a pair of 18/32 needlenose visegrips.

um, its common knowledge that a phillips c-clamp works better then needlenose visegrips.

Living this close to Canada, I've found that a square-drive c-clamp known as a Robertson works even better than the common Phillips..FYI.. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

it would be like on jackass when they froze a bee, then tied a string(leash) to it and then revived it. that was sweet!! /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I kinda don't remember the exact way to do it, but I'll give it a shot. OK, first, catch a fly, then shake it your hands to knock it out. Before it wakes up, tie a string around it and, presto! You have yourself a new pet! /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif
