Anybody know of a good aftermarket remote for unlocking doors? I just came into a little birthday money and thought I would spoil myself abit! Also got enough money that I sent in my 25 bucks for the membership, I figured I got alot of good free advice, the least I could do is pay up! /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

I bought an alarm and wired it so that the remote unlocks the doors. /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

DEI makes a really good line up of stuff. A lot of alarms Viper, Wasp, etc... are made by them. It would be just worth your time to save up about a little more and get a full on alarm with remote lock feature. Some trick setups allow you to have a remote window roll down as well. Since places like Best Buy and Circut City have install included( you still have to pay for some misc. junk stupid fine print nonsense /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif ) its almost worth it to let them deal with the electrical stuff.

Buy an alarm with Door lock feature. You can make the power locks with 2 actuators and 2 relays for about $40 and drive it off the Alarm.

I converted my 80 to keyless entry and power windows with products from www.a1electric.com and have been very happy with them.
