Good times, i drove down to Santa Cruz, had to go to the beach while i was home, the ocean brings me life, it semes to setle down all the ****ty things in my life, sooths me.
anyway, went to the redwoods to go on a train ride, but we missed the train, so we went to pizza my heart in Capatolia for lunch, good ass pizza!!!!:D

Then we made the drive to San Jose and went to the winchester mystery house, and took the tours. Pretty expinsive, but it was cool to see all the stuff. I got a ton of pictures, and alot of pictures of some cool old tools that i will post in the tool fourm when i get home.

so just shareing my day, it was a good one

Agreed, just goes to show you what crazy rich people can do when nobody is supervising them:D
it was nuts how much money she spent on the house, and all the land (120K+ acers) only sold for 139 thousand dollars.:eek1:

Heh. Really. I do like a fan and what not to make noise while I sleep but construction 24 hours a day is a bit much I think.

Hey now, we have lakes and rivers that have beaches. Granted, they are not the "take a long walk with your shipmate" type beaches like they have in California, but beaches nonetheless.:D

I've been to the winchester house too. I think I spent more time in the firearms display part than the actual house. That place is nuttier than squirrel ****. The beaches in cali really didnt do anything for me. Maybe its cause I was spoiled growing up living on the coast. Or maybe its because it was like 60 ****ing degrees in July when I went, and there was no T&A to be seen. I do know that I like my Texan beaches better though. We dont have all that creappy ass algae growing out in the water...

Isn't the Winchester Mansion the place with all the dead-ends and pointless stairways?

I went on a redwood steam train ride when I was down there. Was disappointing. No really huge redwoods. I can see that kind of stuff when I look out the window here.
