I am on King's website and they spec shock lengths for Race Shocks and PreRunner shocks....but it's not obvious what they mean by those terms??

My guess is that any coilover is considered a Race Shock, and the "shock only" setups are the PreRunner ones.... anyone have the answer? I don't think they're even awake yet (damn California time difference!) :D

Pre runner shocks are also available with coil over kits. Some of the materials and internals are different.

i'd guess that the prerunner's are more of an econo version. less exotic parts, cheaper pricetag. just like an actual prerunner compared to the race vehicle.im sure they are still really good, just not race shock quality.
