    there will be
a "Grand Opening" event at the Kinzua Reload OHV Park near Heppner
this Saturday the 17th, and we need a STRONG SHOWING OF 4-WHEEL
DRIVES there to send a message and show support.

This is a new OHV park and if the 4x4 community doesn't show their
suport for the place, it will probably become just another OHV park
for motorcycles and ATV's, instead of a full-range OHV park that also
    has trails for 4-wheel drives. You pay gas taxes and OHV permit fees;
you have a say in this project. At the present moment, there are no
4x4 trails at this place. It is intended to serve more as a staging
area for the surrounding public lands, so it has HUGE potential for
    4x4 trails.

The Region 5 PNW Director will be there. I will be there. The
Governor (yes, the Governor) is supposed to be there, as well as a
bunch of key OHV people in the State of Oregon. THIS IS THE TIME to
show your support for the activity you love. We hope you can join us!

It's a potluck event, so bring some grub if you can. Once everything
is underway, some of us 4-wheel drive folks are planning to spend
some time exploring the surrounding area for potential 4x4 trails.
Bring your GPS if you own one.

    DIRECTIONS:
    Go to Heppner, Oregon.
Take Highway 207 south toward Spray all the way to Mile Marker 32.
The staging area is at MM 32 near the crest of the hill.

A parking lot full of 4-wheel drives will send a clear message.
So will a parking lot with NO 4-wheel drives.

Damn thats crazy, Spray is the last town we hit when we are on our way to Deer camp in the fall, i know how far that is, so i definatley wont be there anytime soon, Ill need a trailer for that one, the boggers wont take to kindly to a 6-8 hour trip on the highway.
