I've been seriously thinkin about repainting my rig rattle can style and have been lookin at the Krylon Ultra Flat black stuff. What do ya'all think about the flat black look? I think that if done right, with the proper care and time spent on the prep and primer job, That the flat black looks awesome. I just wanted some opinions on the matter. Check out the link in my sig for pics of my rig and tell me if ya think it would look good in flat black.

Flat black works fine for me on my rig... but I just undercoated most of what was "flat black"! /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif So you can only see a few places now that are flat... but it does look cool, and you can do super easy repairs on the paint anywhere, anytime.

Get some pics up when you are done!

IMO-stay asway from the kyrlon crap. I teid a couple cans, It wasn't worth the $6.00 a can. The cheap stuff actually looked better, and lasted longer.

I did all my paint in the krylon camo rattle can and have loved it. We have it at our local Wal-Mart for under 3.00 a can

I spray canned my 79 last fall and it has stood up quite well. (Mud, rain, pressure washer)
The best part touch ups are easy and you can't tell they have been done.
