KYB shocks? Any good?

    All right these roads down right suck in detroit so it looks like im gonna need some new shocks. So far i've come up with quite afew brands. Either Monroe or KYB both are gas shocks and neither is adjustable, but both are affordable. I'm planning on lifting my truck but that won't happen for possibly a year or so. Any body use KYB gas a just shocks. Also how would using ORD 1" add a leaf in the rear effect shock selection. Thanks

    Monroe are good on a stock Blazer I had them on before I lfted mine. I have KYB shocks on my Volkswagen it handles good for being lowered, but it's a vw so it might change the handling effects on a Blazer...
