Well, I was hoping to have my first post be something I can give to all the members instead of asking for help! Somone out there have a webshots account I can email a flyer to and have posted on this forum??? It's a new Rock Crawl/Trail Blazin' park opened up by my wifes family in the Arkansas Ozarks. It will make for a great weekend if you haven't already made plans!!!! So someone help me out so we can get this posted before all the plans are made!

    Thanks for the help Jeff!
I hope to meet a few CK5 members out there! The wifes family is on the "Jeepers" side o' the fence. This park has a maint garage for those who don't feel like toating their entire tool box out with them. My self and my family will be out there and I hope to seem some other K5's arrive and show these jeep folks how it's done!

tks man! Semper Fi to you! it was suppose to be SEMPER-k-FIve to distiguish the motto from a vehile model! i dind't want them to be to incorporated and take away from the meaning of Semper Fidelis. I hope i don't catch too much grief over it!

A few of us Okies just came back from a Disney run this weekend (full report later this evening). Would like to make it out, but it's my wife's b-day that weekend, and this last run drained the funds for a while. Oh yeah, Semper Fi.

Some more details on this park so folks don't think it's another " i dropped some big boulders in the drive way, come crawl 'em" kinda thing!

There are currently 17 trails opened and more being constructed between now and Labor Day.
There are two hill climbs rated 4+
    Trails are rated 1 - 3+.
There are 2 4+ rock crawl trails.
Horshoe pit, volleyball, wash pit and garage to fix what you break.

This area used to be a Ski Resort that has been purchased by my Aunt-in-law and is in some beautiful country. For those not familiar w/ the Ozarks, search the web. Also, Mystic Caverns is within 5 miles of the park for those who want to add a bonus to the family trip if you plan to come out.

For those who wish to see clips of this park prior to commiting to a long road trip, a website will be available in the near future. I haven't personally been on these trails, Labor Day will be a first for me, but I have seen video clips and there were some 50 - 60,000 $$ Jeep rigs having a hell of a time making it through some of these trails.

For those of ya i don't get to see, i'll drink a beer for ya...For those i do get to meet, i'll drink a beer with ya!!! /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif
