Have fun now while we still can...

I think everyone should go ahead with their plans if you can afford too..next year we might be a lot worse off than we are now!..fuel wont cost much less I bet--and if we are lucky we will all still be alive, the way things are going..

There's a car show here this weekend that I'm may enter my truck into. I've got a ton of work to do, and I may try to spend a few hours on the lake fishing & relaxing & clearing my mind

Lucky me, I'm having 100 people over for a BBQ on Sunday (some friends, mostly business colleagues). I also have to finish rebuilding my deck, smoke 80 lbs of brisket for 15 hours, cook 20 can in the ass chickens, make 5 gallons of marg., pick up a keg and whatever else is on that damn honey-do list.

Taking the boat to the lake Mon. to relax after all this crap.

No matter what else you do this weekend, do this one thing. Enjoy your time with family and friends. (turn off the tv, don't talk about NOLA or the people in it, don't talk about gas prices, clear your mind of the bad things and focus on the good and great things, get back to your enjoyable life, if only for a couple of days)
You will be glad you did.

Moving fence, dismounting 4 tires, making a dump run, bathing still stinky dogs and hopefully squeezing in a little time for some beers and bbq.

Construction on my new garage begins on Tuesday!!! :woot::woot::woot:

Spending time with the family and prolly going to Coral Canyon with Roz and some other guys from the board. I refuse to bow down to the oil companies and sit at home and not drive the truck.

Have the steaks in the "Jack Daniel's (MESQUITE) marinader" bag. I like too let them marinade for a couple days. [IMG]

I was going to go home and get my truck, but it seems that the majority of gas stations in my home county are dry, with the surrounding counties not far behind. So I will stay up here with all of the other's that are staying and proceed to have one helluva party!

Wife's birthday is Monday, so we are having a "Mexican" style BBQ Saturday in her honor. No she is not Hispanic, just likes the food.

I was going to tow the boat down to the Lake of the Ozarks and party at the party cove (if no one has ever heard of this place it is a carnaval, (topless chicks everywhere) but all that is now bust because of gas prices, so I will be playing a round of golf with my friends. :(

I've been down to the Ozarks quite a few times. Always had a good time down there.
