Yup, been pretty damn wet here the last 4 or 5 days. Been very warm too, so on top of the biblical quantities of rain we've gotten the snow pack is also melting which just adds to the problem. It was 56 F (13 C) here today, last friday it was only 12 F (-11 C)

We're supposed to get another 200 mm of rain by the end of Friday too...

yyeah the water looked really bad, they said on the news that the ground was still really frozzn due to ultra frezeing temp last week and now the rain is just overflowing.

when i saw the news and they were talking about landslide in a subdevisiom i was thinking yeah no friggin wonder.

you take all the trees away from a hill side and what do you get? erosion and eventualy landslides.
but that whole hill was fully tree'd. scary. could see a bed sticking out of the slide, what a crappy way to wake up.
