My last chemo treatment is tomorrow!! Finally, after six months that sometimes felt like was never going to end, it's finally coming to an end! Just one more time of going into that smelly treatment office tomorrow, one more time (for now) of getting stuck with a needle, and one more time afterwards of maybe feeling like **** for a couple days and it's done for good!!! I'm so happy. Just need to stay awake as long as I can tonight so I'll want to sleep through it tomorrow like I always do.

Only thing that's concerning me is the weather about tomorrow. It's started raining earlier, so I'm worried about ice forming up on the roads to Franklin tonight and therefore it'd be unsafe to make the trip in the morning. If the roads are too dangerous in the morning, that'd result in it being pushed back a week to maybe being just a few days before Christmas, so I'd wind up then getting loaded up and maybe being sick on Christmas.

Never felt better. My anti-nausea meds have been tuned to perfection, one time recently, after one of my most recent treatments, I was drinking milk the next day!!! Zofran is truly a miracle drug. One of the doctors recently told my dad, that back in the late 70's before they had zofran and similar drugs, when somebody was recieving the same chemo regimen as I've been getting, it was common to put that patient in the hospital for three days after each treatment!!

Well, they still want to do some final tests to make sure I won't have to have one shot of radiation. Doc's don't feel I'll need it, but in cases like mine, docs have told me the jury's still out among them on whether to give the patient a shot of radiation or not, so that'll largely depend on my doc's personal judgment and confidence.
