    Thinkin about getting one Emmett?

Been thinkin maybe down the road getting one. Will miss the top removal choice, etc. Don't quiet seem the same as the K-5, maybe too much plastic may be resistant to change!

I am hoping that by the end of spring I can get a tow vehicle. I was thinking more along the lines of a 3/4 ton 4x4 p/u but then I thought that a 2 or 4 door Thaoe would be nice also.

But I am not sure if they could handle the twoing weight of my Jimmy. ALthough my friend did a lot of towing with his 95 1/2 ton 4x4 p/u, but the Tahoe has more weight and less wheel base.

I wouldn't hold my breath for a straight front axle, Cummins powered Chevy. The new HD trucks have independent fronts and a newly designed Isuzu built 6.6 liter turbo diesel.

    10-4..

I may keep the car depending on what I can sell it for... It would be nice to keep for those trips where MPG come into play and I dont need the larger vehicle.

My one friend works at the local GMC dealer and rives them alot, he said the 6.5 are sick and cant get out of their own way!

Now if i had my way, I would have a new Dodge ext Cab, 4x4 Dually with a Banks Cummins in it! But I would have to rob the bank!

As for the Rubicon, i will make it out there sooner or later and you are more than welcome to come!

  19. Here is the answer

I loved my 1996 Tahoe 2 door, but gave in and traded it for a new Z71 ext cab 4 door. The last year for the two door was 1999----------but they carried them over to 2000 with the old body style along with some old body style trucks too. They tagged them as 2000 models, so the answer is-------2000 !!! What a shame, even without a removable top they are awesome vehicles.

    Re: Here is the answer

What was GM thinking when they stopped making them? They were the only fullsize 2dr. 4X4, so they got 100% of the sales for that market. I've heard that Ford is gonna be bringing back the Bronco is a few years. Maybe they'll call it the Exbronco or something to go along with their EX theme...[IMG]
