    been working long hours, 72 last week and 78 this week. been stressed out with an employee quiting and still getting medical bills from my kidney stones. As some of you may remember i sold my 1940 coupe. so I'm down to 3 vehicles (89 burb with the 6.2 sold, 2wd 86 s-10 blazer, and the Willys)

    I drive the s-10 daily and bought it to do a v-8 swap but i kinda like the gas mileage i get.
    so i sold the 6.2 out of the burb and thought of putting the motor that was for the s-10 into the burb. now i'm thinking of parting the burb out and doing a 2wd 1967-1972 burb as my tow rig. or swaping the 1972 burb body onto the 89 frame. or just using the front and t case on the 72.

    I'm kinda trying to find the best rig to fit each need.
    off road toy=willys
    tow rig=?
    daily driver=?
    cruiser=?
    the other idea is to sell both the burb and the s-10 and do a 3/4 ton swap on the 1972 ( i don't have the 72 but i do have one available to me)

    or sell the s-10 and put a cummins in the 89 burb. and put the 383/700r4 into an old street rod or muscle car.

    Keep it simple... I find that more than one project at a time tends to leave you with no progress on any of them (or so little progress you can't see it moving forward).

    off road toy= Willys
    tow rig=? Burb with 383
    daily driver=? S10 Blazer as is since you already like it
    cruiser=? Willys until its no longer a project... then look for something else to modify.

    umm, i would put the 383 in the burban, tow with it, keep the s-10 and drive it, then one day down the road get a fast car....

    ... now to pick out a cam for the 383.... need low end torque :D

    anyone have 6" front springs?
