We're trying to sell our lawn tractor, and it's not running.
A guy is probably coming tonight around 8:00 to look at it.
I charged it since 12:00 to now. The battery charger said "Full Charge"....And when I went to start it, it didn't do anything.
I used the charger to jump start it, and it started right up.
I shut it down after I let it run for 5 minutes. Now it wouldn't start. I have it back on the charger. When I hooked the charger up, it immediently said "full charge" again.
So either the charger is hooped, or the start switch thing.

Anyone have any advice? This is an old john deere 110 lawn tractor. brand new battery this winter. New spark plug, air filter, etc.
I think it's the switch. Because when I jump it, it starts right up. But with nothing helping it, the engine doesn't crank ovr or anything.

HELP need to sell this before we move!

It's either the switch or the solenoid my grandpa says. We're probably going to get a new solenoid tomorow.

Nothing wrong with the battery, its new.

Just in case anyone was wondering (yeah, right :surepal: )

It was a poor battery. We got the battery exchanged and now it runs fine.
We're selling it...a few people have come by so far.

They made us pay for the time we used the battery. From november to June. Which turned out to be 26 or so dollars. A lot better than paying 110 for a new one.
