Can anyone tell me if I can yank the rear leaf springs out of a 1/2 ton '99 chev. 2WD and replace them with 3/4 or 1 ton springs? Without modification, or what would you do if you wanted to increase its payload? /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif
    Thanks /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Small differences between 1/2 ton and larger trucks

    Springs
    Frame
    Brakes

Changing any one of those components doesn't make it a higher grade - safely. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
