Ok so what is the advantage of coils? I'am thinking that they are 1. More flex 2. better handling flying down the dessert , fire roads 3. ajustable ride height 4. they look cool.. Any others you can think of?

Now the problem is locating them right? Is it possiable , or worth it to use say a MONO leaf spring as the locating device. The leaf spring would provide little if any support for the vehicle, but just to locate the coil over..

    Just throwing out an idea..

You know, I thought about this a while back, it seems like it would work for the most part, the big problem (and it would probably be a BIG problem) would be axlewrap. A single soft leaf just wouldn't be able to support the axle very well and it would probably wrap like crazy. Good to see I'm not the only one that thinks outside the box though /forums/images/icons/grin.gif
