Can you run your leaf springs without the anti friction pads? Pro and Cons

YES you can run without em , the factory front doesnt have any . im running diesel factory leaves on top of a couple tahoe leaves with the pads and it works fine might squeak or wear a tad more but i wouldnt worry about it .

why would you want to run without anti friction stuff in there? I use UHMWPE in my rear springs... and will in the front too as soon as I get a shop to open up the clamps. Pics of the UHMWPE are up on my webshots... shack flip install album. Reducing friction between the leaves is a good thing... keeps wear on the springs down, and keeps them from binding. Whats more, compared to new springs, its dirt cheap.
