Saturday I fly to LA for a week to visit my bro. We are driving to Las Vegas /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif Sun and leaving Wed. Renting an econo car, hopefully like a Metro. Can anyone recommend any cheap buffets there? I love buffets haha /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

Hopefully I will win some money /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif but if not it will be fun losing it.

Hot dog and a heineken for $1.50 at the gold coast. Kinda between the flamingo and Bally's. Buffet's are kinda expensive $15.00-30.00. The 2.99 buffets are kinda a myth. you can find good meals(not all you can eat) for 2.99 though. Just walk around there's plenty of deals to be had. And the best place to get drinks when you're not playing is to stand by a craps table and ACT like you're playing, there's so much action around them that the waitresses don't know whos playing and who isn't.

    Cool, thanks for the tip.

This is my second time going, last time we stayed at the Flamingo and this time is gonna be at the paris. My brother and I like that area a lot, and yeah the buffets are a lot, but the Bally's one was good.

And I might just try the craps drink special haha. I like to to watch craps a while before I decide to play anyways, and it is crazy.

Well as far as "have-to fix" type things there isn't much. It is running a little rough and I am not sure if it needs some fresher gas or if the choke isn't working right. Haven't checked the choke yet but I am leaning towards that. Otherwise there are a few small things like a broken exhaust mount and all the various noises and shakes/rattles. I can live with most of that stuff haha.

I will give you a heads up when I get back /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

You need to hit up the buffets at the local's casinos. With your stay being mostly week days, you can eat like a king for cheap. First rule, DO NOT eat meals on the strip. Try any of the "Station Casinos" or "Coast Casinos." My favorite is Texas Station. They have the best variety of food and a very fair price.

the best buffet in town used to be at the rio its called the world buffet and is around $17.00

you could also try the new cannery casino just north of town up I15 on craig rd. its pretty good and cheap.

dont forget to bring your flip flops because its going to be well above 100 degrees by next week /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif

DUDE! Go to the Hard rock, they have a cafe inside and its not on the menu but surf and turf for like........well its cheap can't recall how cheap cause I was a little intoxicated but trust me its worth it. Since you will be at Paris you have to hit Bellagio for some gambling
In fact I just got some room specials in the mail the other day. If I wasn't leaving for Florida next week I would invite myself /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif..........

    I love 'Vegas /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

    Haha...

Bellagio kicks a$$, one of the reasons we like that area /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif I got a thing in the mail from them, although there deal price is still a lot /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif I am happy with my $69/night at the Paris, and I tried to get Bally's for $49/night but they didn't have availability when I called. Good thing I signed up for the Players card last trip, now I get the stuff in the mail for all their deals. It's like 1/2 of the internet prices on all the different discount web sites /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Kick A$$, can't wait /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif

I think I am gonna have to start going at least twice a year, although I need to plan so I don't hit the 100 degree weather, last time I went was in October and it was 100+ then too. But thats just all the more reason to sleep during the day, and stay up all night

Thanks for all the info everyone /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif
