All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go
I'm standing here inside the door
I hate to wake you up to say goodbye
    But the day is growing
    It's early morn
    There no taxi waitin' or
    Blowin' his horn
    Already I'm so hungry
    I could die

So hug me and smile for me
Tell me that you'll wait for me
Be nice to each other while I'm gone
Cause I'm leaving in a Chevy Blazer
Don't know when I'll be back again
Oh babe, it's not hard to go.

There's so many times I've let you down
So many times I just played around
I tell you now, they kinda made me think
Ev'ry place I go, I'll think of you
Ev'ry song I sing, I'll might sing for you
When I come back, I'll bring you some good stories.

So hug me and smile for me
Tell me that you'll wait for me
Be nice to each other while I'm gone
Cause I'm leaving in a Chevy Blazer
Don't know when I'll be back again
Oh babe, it's not hard to go.

Now the time has come to leave you
    One more time
    Let me tell you
Goodbye adios I'll be on my way
Dream about the days to come
When I won't have to leave alone
About the times, I won't have to say

Oh, hug me and smile for me
Tell me that you'll wait for me
Be nice to each other while I'm gone
Cause I'm leaving in a Chevy Blazer

My wife sent me this e-mail, it's nice to be appreciated... hope she brings it back soon so I can use it to go hunting on the weekend.

In case you didn't get it from the lyrics, this was a rework of the moldy oldy "Leaving on a Jet Plane" & uses the same tune. [IMG]
