So what are you making out of your left over turkey ??? I'm thinking about making some Turkey Tetrazini. Haven't had that for years. Had a Hot Turkey sanwich yesterday, going too grind up some today and have Turkey salad.

Nuthin' but sammiches! Well, my mom cooks up some KILLER turkey soup. But, I like sandwiches, I make sandwiches out of everything. On turkey day I usually build a nice turky & stuffing sandwich and eat that while everyone else has their plate all made up. I make sammiches out of everything, meatloaf is a favorite.

Used to loathe after Thanksgiving and Christmas cuz my Mom and Grandmom used to make GALLONS of turkey soup. Some turkey soup is a really good thing but GALLONS of turkey is an entirely different matter. :haha:

    Cat Food!!

We're tiring of turkey sandwiches and turkey whatever else you can think of making out of the leftovers..so we are putting it in the blender and mincing it up ,and feeding the rest to the 15 (+?) stray cats outside!--I've got 15 pairs of wide eyes staring at me on the back porch the past 2 days.. :eek1: --(very eerie if you shine a flashlight out there and see 30 eyes light up like pinball machines!)---every time I open the door,it sounds like a stampede,as they fly down the stairs, and hide in the bushes until I go back inside.. :haha:

I figured the cats deserve a thanksgiving too..they do kill some mice and rats, and I saw one using a small garter snake as a toy with a few kittens!..so a little reward for being good mousers, and vermin removers is in order..I just wish I could get rid of some of the smaller ones, before they start breeding.. :doah: --going to be fun when winter sets in...
