Leftover parts...

    I usually don't come in here, but I thought this would be suitable for a Saturday afternoon: I'm getting closer to finishing my "John 'Motor' Doe" sculpture, here's the first try:

    Heads, intake, exhaust mainfolds, and water pump/fan clutch were left from my top end makeover; shoes are the stock shackle brackets left over from the flip, and one leg is the tie rod I bent last year in Fulton. One old stock front spring does some third leg stabilizer duty. Overall paint scheme needs some work, and some parts haven't been cleaned yet. It's in front of the house, maybe I ought to put a motion detector on the 'belly' and a light in the purple exhaust manifold....

    looks off balance with the one head as a leg and the other as.........

    needs some symetry or however you spell that.

    I like it, but like he said, it looks a little unbalanced. Then again, it is art so who cares if it's balanced. Look at some of the paintings out there /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif
