If I were to get a complete th400/205 with the adapter and bolt it up where the th350/205 was- Would it be about 1" longer total?
So I would either move the engine crossmember foreward (and gain more firewall clearance /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif), or move the t-case crossmember back and possibly have to re-do the driveshafts.

How about if i got that ord 700r4 output shaft so it would bolt up to my existing 350/205 setup.. what would that be roughly 1 1/2" longer?

    Just tossing around ideas here.

Not sure on all the different lengths, but a 700R4 is 1 7/8" longer than a TH350.
