Lets help fellow 4x4\'ers out with a few guide lines...

We are going to do this nicely....mkay? Here it goes.
    First guide line:
1.) Find out if the property you are on is public or private property.
2.) Leave the land the same way you found it.

This is for starters...please add more.

How about changing number 2 to "leave it at least as good as you found it or better" and add "always carry a trash bag to pick up what you find".

If you see others misusing the land or area contact the local authorities immediately to come out there to take care of them. If you think they will be gone before they (the authorities) get there get a license plate number and if possible a description of the driver and the vehicle.

Stay on only trails and areas marked for use once you get to the place you are going to be starting your 4 wheelin' adventure from.

Stay on the trail!!! Nothing makes me angry like seeing some immature person blazing there own trail, destroying everything in their path.

Don't 4 wheel next to people's houses. I get idiots getting stuck 45 feet behind my fence. At 2 or 3 in the morning they are reving their engines trying to get out. It makes people mad and gives true 4wheelers a bad rap.

And guys with big tires, I dont think its funny when the guy with 33's gets stuck cause he hi centered becasue u sat there diggin it out with your 44's on purpose. (I found out the hard way one time). Don't break beer bottles on the trail, pick them up. Put out campfires. If you want to destroy stuff, destroy your own stuff on your own property, how about that?

Great ideas... Ive got some property that I catch people on about 2-3 times a year and it always amazes me when I hear "We didnt know anyone owned this land"??? Told the last guy they were one track off the "free" land that no one owned was about a 1/2 mile down the road...

Ummm hasnt this already been covered? You know... that little anacronym that we responsible type 4 wheelers call TREAD Lightly??? Maybe we should just send the ones who caused the problems a link to the site, make them join, and see if they learn.
    Anythings possible you know.

Always carry a litter bag in you cab. They do not take up much room, and if they get full, well, you can always throw them out the window...... :)
