    Namely things that are commonly called by a brand or model name. Something like Cinnabons, really being Cinnamon Buns.(not the greatest example) I thought of another more common one today but its escaping me right now. Add ones you think of.

    when people ask for a coke when they actually want different flavor i have even people ask for a coke when they want iced tea but thats the south for ya i geuss it could be worse they could ask for pop :laugh:

    yeah I was warned about that when I was in LA, was told "if someone offers you a coke make sure you specify what you want". There is a kid in my class who says pop, he was flat out arguing that pop is the correct term for a soda. I looked up the definition, soda is a carbonated beverage, pop is just a sound :D

    Panther Piss - used in place of - Lubricating Fluid (WD40/Breakaway/Whatnot)

    ATM Machine - used in place of - ATM (Guess what the M in ATM stands for)

    Assault Weapon - used in place of - any rifle that's scary and black (decrepid army surplus rifles/useful rifles)

    Automatic - used in place of - fully automatic (it's arguable, I know)
