Heres a shot of my truck, Grim. Yours is pretty sweet! I wish I knew how to work on these more than I do.

Rocko, The back is a little different now. I removed my tailgate and moved my spare all the way to the rear for easier access, and I replaced my plastic parts box with a black diamond plate aluminum box.

Right know the Bowtie is sitting on 31s and it looks kinda funky. Getting ready for a one ton set up and many changes...I'll keep you posted.

Well a old K5 is a good vehicle to learn to work on. Simple Straight and forward. You also have a great web site here with 2000+ K5 owners that have seen every problem your going to have and can give you great advice.
Good looking truck. Looks real clean and rust free. Not often you find that in a older K5.

I would be interested in seeing your new setup (no tailgate with spare in the back) sounds similar to what I;m going to do.

    Here are a few pics: <A target="_blank" HREF=http://coloradok5.com/ejs2001>http://coloradok5.com/ejs2001</A>

Guys, those are some cool pics!

Grim, what paint is on your K5? Did you spray it yourself?
